4. What is the character of the piece? Is it fast or slow? Sad or happy (minor or major)? Soft or loud?
5. What aspects of the piece do you like or dislike?
6. Is this piece from a larger work? If so, how many movements are there?
7. Is there a story behind the song? What is the song about?
8. Have you heard the song before this course? Where? If not, where do you think you would hear this piece?
9. What do you think the composer was trying to accomplish?
10. How does the song make you feel? What kind of connections can you make?
11. What musical characteristics do you hear and see in the score? Use course terminology!
