I received a BS degree in 2007, my MS degree in 2008 and the PhD in 2014 in the field of Hydraulic and Environmental engineering, as a segment of a Civil Engineering program. My research focused on river research including measurements, the development of a Fortran code capable of modeling water flow and sediment transport in natural watercourses.
Later I started researching environmental issues in Lakes and wetlands. This research includes water quality measurements (both field and laboratory) and data analysis.
I have over 10 years of experience in working with students on various subjects including Wastewater treatment, Numerical hydraulics, Fluid Mechanics, Hydraulics, Hydraulic Measurements, Water Monitoring, River Regulation, and other.
My experience includes test development and evaluation, mentoring and grading a series of BS and MS theses, research paper writing, publication, and reviewing.
I also participated in various research projects, both national and international, gaining valuable experience in project proposal writing as well as project implementation.
As a professor I also participated in curriculum development on multiple occasions.
My goal is to help anyone I can who is interested in learning and improving themselves in any area where I can.
My previous experience with students helped me learn how to communicate and better accommodate to their different needs. Consequently, I feel I could provide assistance in all sorts of situations a students might find themselves in.
