Presentation- Engaging the public
Supporting Grant Success:
Assume your grant has been awarded and you need to garner public support for implementation.
Use PowerPoint to create a presentation that explains and promotes your project to the public.
Include the following components:
1. Project synopsis - problem, audience, need, proposed solutions, cost
2. Project benefits - projected outcomes
3. Implementation plan and timeline
4. How can the public help? - possible partnerships and extensions
Incorporate appropriate animations, transitions, and graphics as well as “speaker notes” for each slide.
The speaker notes may be comprised of brief paragraphs or bulleted lists.
Length: 10-15 slides (with a separate reference slide)
Notes Length: 50-100 words for each slide
Be sure to include citations for quotations and paraphrases with references in APA format and style.
