Introduction

The price of Diamonds is determined by the weight of the Diamond measured in carat, the color Of the Diamond, its clarity and the cut of the Diamond. In this Research report we are going to discuss about the best diamond that would be recommended based on the above criteria and is also within the limits of his budget. The data collected from the 12 stores lays out the basic information about the value of the diamonds based upon the unique characteristics and we base our research report based on the data provided.
Literature Review:

For determining the quality of diamond, one has to check the color, clarity, cut and carat of the Diamond and each one of these characteristics increase the uniqueness of The Diamond which increases its value(Diamond, 2017). Each one of these characteristics is discussed below.
The carat of the diamond denotes the weight of the Diamond and this characteristic matters in determining the diameter of the Diamond as they are directly correlated. Hence diamonds of higher weight are generally preferred(Diamond-pro, 2016).

The gemological institute of America has categorized the diamonds in 5 scales namely colorless, nearly colorless, faint tint, very light tint and light tint. In these scales, the very light tint, and light tint categories are not recommended diamonds for their tints(Diamond_Pro, 2017). As colorless categories D, E, F is usually set in Platinum or white gold and would increase the value of the jewelry. The nearly colorless category are G, H, I , J scales (in our data set, given the values of 4,5,6,7) and are found to be less price due to their some tints.

The clarity of the Diamond is a qualitative metric that determines the visual appearance of the Diamond in various grades. If the Diamond has less inclusions and blemishes it has a better clarity grade but these imperfections cannot be recognized by the naked eye (Diamond.Pro, 2016).
