Project Outline
This report is based on the fictitious organization ABC Consultants Limited.
Founded in 2014 in the city of New York, this company is in the business of providing IT support solutions to consumers.

The unique selling proposition of the business is the fact that its services are available round the clock and it guarantees response within 12 hours of report from consumers.
It provides all types of IT services such as hardware maintenance, software maintenance, software upgrade, etc.

It has a strong base of business consumers who rely on the services of the company for maintaining their IT systems. The vision of the company is to keep businesses and entities connected.
The mission is to ensure that they are readily available to consumers when needed by investing in a motivated staff which is keen on understanding the needs and wants of the consumers and provides them with solutions accordingly.

The company has been working on a client-centric approach in which every client is handled in a different manner depending on their business needs.
Though the business caters to business consumers only, it caters to a diverse range of business consumers which vary in sizes and product lines.

The employee base of the company comprises of 50 employees that work in 3 shifts during the day so that the business is operational across all 24 hours.
This makes communication of utmost importance to the success of the organization since lack of proper communication can impair the ability of the employees to provide solutions to the client in an efficient and effective manner.

Architecture Evaluation
Though the business has been providing IT support services to the consumers, most of its operations are done manually.
There are desktop computers for the employees and these are primarily used to prepare documents and status reports about clients.

There is no software as such like Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software which can integrate all the activities in the organization.
A separate folder is maintained for each client and the employees are required to file copies of status reports and documents in the respective folders for each client.

If any issue is reported by any client, the employees post a status report in the folder so that the succeeding shifts can work accordingly on issue resolution.
The current architecture is inefficient as well as resource consuming too.

Even though the company is doing a good job in meeting client expectations due to low attrition rate of employees, the employees feel that lot of time is wasted in retrieving data about the client and understanding the same.
