Find one article in a recent—recent meaning within the last year or so—newspaper , magazine, book, or credible web page that illustrates one of the ideas or concepts explained in one of the following chapters:

What you will be doing is finding an article on something related to the chapters and then explaining how the information in the chapter can help explain the behavior in your article.
Specifically, identify the concept, theory, idea, or issue that has a connection to your article. You can find the concepts, theories, ideas, or issues within each section of each of the above chapters, in the margins of the pages, and in the "Key Concepts and Summary" sections at the end of each chapter. Provide an explanation of how the article relates to the chapter and to the concept, theory, idea, or issue.
As an example, I could find an article about the potential cutbacks in U.S. military spending and show how AD, the multiplier, and GDP will be affected and how this is related to a Keynesian viewpoint.
You might be able to find articles for The Keynesian Perspective by examining the work of some Keynesian economists such as Paul Krugman. Neoclassical examples can usually be found in conservative viewpoints about the role of governments. Please feel free to use sources other than the text for your explanation.
Include in your explanation something that might show insightful thinking. That is, you should be able to go somewhat beyond repeating what the text says. In my example of cutbacks in military spending, I could try to explain how certain sectors within the consumption or investment components of GDP may be expected to have an increase in spending, which would offset the decreased military spending. I could also examine ways that politicians and military officials could put up barriers to prevent any funding cuts.
