Action Research Article: How was the Action Research Process employed?

The article that I chose is entitled, “Blogging about Books: What We can Learn from our Students”, by Brittany M. Albaugh or Rowan University. The Action Research process was motivated by the educator of record’s desire to investigate how the use of blogging in her Language Arts Classroom influenced student communication about independent reading novels. Directionality within the process from the planning to the post-implementation phase of her study was rooted and grounded in research as her comprehensive review of the literature established the assertion that blogging provides a buffered platform for social interaction and these experiences in turn gives each student learner an opportunity to socially construct meaning from text both in the classroom and from the comforts of their home....
