Report Title: Electric Power Source

The most important energy sources currently in use, and those expected to have a significant energy saving of mankind are:
Fossil fuel: is the coal, oil and natural gas, and stores this fuel (chemical energy) can take advantage of them when burned, and fossil fuels is the main source of energy which constitutes more than 90% of the energy used today, but it is a depletable source, and because of the environmental pollution problems, the search actively for the provision and development of other energy sources.
Mechanical sources: They are waterfalls, dams, and movement (tidal) and wind energy, and therefore held plants (electricity generation) when dams and waterfalls and areas of high tides and strong winds throughout the exploitation of mechanical payment in the operation of the power turbine.

Solar Power: utilized through direct heating in water heating, heating and cooking operations, and can be converted directly to the (electric power) by (solar cells).
Geothermal energy is utilized in terms of the high temperature in the underground, and in some areas are these (groundwater energy) close to the surface of the earth thus are found hot springs. In Iceland, for example - are spread springs, and utilized for the purpose of heating.

Biomass (biomass): It is vital residues, and this category includes: timely and agricultural that are fermented in special pits for mounts, including methane, a flammable gas.

Hydrogen gas: an important kind of fuels, which is projected to have a significant role in the energy security in the future, and cars run on hydrogen gas emerged, and most applications take advantage of it in the (fuel cells), which is a promising cell application and wide in the future, and are electricity generation directly within the hydrogen and air-pass, and through the union of hydrogen and oxygen we get the (electric power), and the remnants of this process, it is only water, ie the (fuel cells) do not contribute to the pollution of the environment.

Nuclear energy: produce from the (nuclear fission) in nuclear reactors, and utilized in the conduct of ships and submarines and generate (electricity), and highlighted the negative aspects (radioactive waste) resulting, and the problem of disposal, and controls high safety necessary to prevent the explosion of the reactor, or leakage of radiation from it.
A classification of energy sources based on the extent of the possibility of renewed energy and sustainability:
Depleting conventional energy: these include coal, petroleum, metals, natural gas, and chemicals, which are depleted because they can not be made second or compensated again in a short time.
Clean or renewable or alternative energy: Includes wind power and the wind and solar energy, water or energy waves and groundwater in the ground and biomass energy, which is inexhaustible energies.

Introduction:

Every society wants to attain a sustainable growth pattern. In the race of development everyone wants to surge and compete with its counter parts. This accelerated the growth process results in urbanization, globalization, etc. which further necessitates heavy infrastructure provisions like power/energy, water supply, raw materials etc. Out of these, energy occupies a prominent place and it is pre-requisite behind all forms of developmental activities.

Energy is essentially coupled with development at the international, local, national, and regional levels. At the local level, mainly in rural area, modern energy is pre-requisite to get better, the overall quality of life by expanding productive activities and small scale business at their home, which will result in increased incomes. At national/international and regional levels, adequate modern energy leads to expanding economic development, promotion of trade and services including consumerism, globalization and industrialization, moreover the added benefits of healthier social and economic linkages. Actually all technology needs the modern energy as essentially input in order to run it through which economic growth get propelled. There are five factors in any economy namely land, capital, labor, entrepreneurs and energy are responsible for growth in productivity. Among the five factors, land, labor, capital, entrepreneurs are assumed to be constant, then the growth in the productivity through technology needs energy. Energy is the most basic infrastructure input required for economic growth and development of a country. Thus energy is also one of the supporting factors which lead to a higher productivity via technology....
