There is a data set extracted from Global Volcanism Program. Use this data set and do the following:

1. Using Poisson Distribution function, and predict volcanic eruptions in Indonesia. (using appropriate concepts of Statistics and Probability)

2. This work must involve use of graphs, tables, formula etc.

3. Can such a prediction of volcanic eruptions, when finally statistically arrived at, be represented in some kind of visual method, using software or otherwise ? May be in the form of a graph in Excel. If I have a result data set in the form of a table, I can use Excel to generate the graph. I use Excel 2007 on Windows.
