I chose to discuss the Hellenistic Altar of Zeus and Athena located in Pergamon which is part of Asia Minor (See textbook p. 132). Much of what was the temple complex lays in ruin and the grand altar has subsequently been taken down and displayed in museums, but our knowledge of the time period and an analysis of what remains of the site suggests this was a grand and dramatic piece of architecture....
