This week, you submit your data analysis plan. The analysis plan is the guidebook for how you are going to examine your research question. You have been provided a variety of Learning Resources to assist in the development of your data analysis and its culminating report. Refer to the resources listed under Scholar-Practitioner Documents in this week’s Learning Resources for project examples.
• Your data analysis plan should also include the following supporting documents:
o Data dictionary
o Data table
Types of variables—independent/dependent
Levels of measurement
Statistical tests for the study outcome
• Support your response with the Learning Resources and current literature.
This material may consist of step-by-step explanations on how to solve a problem or examples of proper writing, including the use of citations, references, bibliographies, and formatting. This material is made available for the sole purpose of studying and learning - misuse is strictly forbidden. From the list of available variables mentioned above, we will perform the analysis and we will see how some of the variables are putting impact on the physical and mental health of the individual. The type of variable i.e. Independent or dependent will be defined in the respective analysis section.
The purpose of the study is to find out the variables which are putting the impact on the physical and mental health of an individual so that the proper and appropriate precautions can be taken by the individual for better health.
Since we have a list of a large number of variables we can define various hypotheses that will justify seeing whether there is any significant difference in the various groups and how and which are the particular variables putting impacting on the physical and mental health of the individual. Also, we will define the hypotheses for the number of days physical/mental health is not good and we will see whether there is any significant difference in the various groups and which are the variables that are putting impact on the number of days physical/mental health is not good.
The data we have considered is for one country i.e. US. Because of different states there are some chances that demographics of the individuals vary. Along with the demographics, the standard of living of an individual also varies. On the basis of different demographic and different standard of living the physical and mental health of the individual can be dependent.
Talking about the age, we know that the age plays an important role in the physical and mental health related issues. We will also see whether gender put any significant impact in the physical and mental health related issues. The individuals who have either physical or mental health related issues will be considered as an individual with health related issue. And the individuals who are not having any of the physical or mental health related issues we will consider it as healthy individuals. This is how we will define the group of healthy and not healthy individuals.
We will test whether there is any significant difference between gender and health related issues or not. To serve this purpose we will define the following hypothesis:
H0: There is no significant difference between physical and mental health-related issues for the gender group.
HA: There is a significant difference between physical and mental health-related issues in the gender group...
