The word Fibonacci had derived its name from the founder’s name. It suggests a sequence of numbers also known as the Fibonacci series or sequence. The sequence of numbers can be written down as:
0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144 and so on...
The Fibonacci series is defined in such a manner that the first two numbers are 0 and 1, and the next number in the sequence of the sum of the previous two. In this way this series if formed. In mathematics the Fibonacci series could be defined as a recurrence relationship where
Fn = Fn-1 + Fn-2 where F0= 0, F1= 1
