What is your view of Language? Do you agree Saussure and Wittgenstein? Are they really agreeing with each other? If so, summarize their position and explain why you agree with it. Or, instead, do you think language works in a way that’s more connected with the senses and is more about the outside world after all. If you believe this, please explain what parts of Saussure and Wittgenstein you disagree with and why.

My view on language is that of a form of communication. Sounds connect to form words. Words have meanings. When words are arranged together in sentences they convey a specific thought or idea. Sentences are used to communicate to each other.
My view on language closely resembles that of Saussure and Wittgenstein. Saussure view on language is that words are a part of speech and adding words together creates a unique union that defines language. A sound-image is a psychological representation of each word. Language becomes the sum of the sound-images. Rules for grammar and dictionary meaning of words aid in the expression of ideas. A concept or idea is born by uniting sound-images together. When a concept and a sound-image are combined it creates a sign. The sign or symbol is known as the signifier (S ,2001). I agree with this view because a sound-image of a word could represent one psychological meaning in one cultures language and a different meaning in a different cultures language....
