The elbow at A forms a right angle. Problem 3: It is known that a vertical force of 200 lb is required to remove the nail at C from the board. As the nail starts moving, determine: 1- The moment about B of the force exerted on the nail. 2- The magnitude of the force P which creates the same moment about B if α=10o Problem 4: A wooden board AB, which is used as a temporary prop to support a small roof, exerts at point A of the roof a 57-lb force directed along BA. Determine the moment about C of that force. Problem 5: The force F ={600i + 300j – 600k} N acts at the end of the beam. Determine the moment of the force about point A. Problem 6: Determine the moment of each of the three forces about point A.
