Situation 1

When walking home from school, I realized that I started feeling pressed as my bladder was full and I needed to urinate. In other words, I felt some discomfort. This created the need to remove the discomfort by urinating. However, the entire road does not have buildings on its either sides, so I had to move some few more kilometers to find a toilet. But after several meters, I found a farm with a toilet near the gate. I asked the gatekeeper to allow me use the toilet and he readily allowed me. After using the toilet, felt relieved and continued with my journey.

In this case, the motivating operation is the discomfort created by the full bladder. If my bladder was not full or if I had urinated while at school, I could not have even thought about the presence of a toilet on the sides of the road....
