Yin-Yang is an ancient Chinese religious symbol, closely associated with the Daoist religion/philosophy. In Chinese philosophy Yin and Yang are considered the main two forces which act in the universe. Yin is associated with such notions as female, moon, cold, dark, negative. Yang symbolizes male, sun, warm, positive. All things are a combination of those two forces in different proportions. They are antagonistic, but yet they always act together and co-exist (some sources say that sun is pure Yang, while Yin is pure Moon)....
