Church Leadership Presentation
â€¢ Based upon the current needs and challenges of todayâ€™s church globally or specifically, you will present a working model on how to address one specified challenge facing todayâ€™s church as outlined on page seven (7) of this syllabus under section heading â€œPresentation Scenarios.â€ You will be responsible to: describe the problem within the church, state how the problem effects the church, share insight or information from other churches that have experienced the same problems, (sources may come from reading assignments), develop a working solution to the problem, explain how the solution will be implemented and state how the resolution will benefit the church and or its community. Further, you will specifically state how to measure the success of the resolution you present. This paper will range between 5 to 7 pages in substantive length with full bibliography included.

Presentation Scenarios

1. As a Leader, address the growing trend of diminishing attendance on Sunday and the general decline of church membership overall.

2. State the challenge of youth attendance/involvement in todayâ€™s church and the steps necessary toward improvement of the same.

3. As a leader, how should the church reach the millennial population in order to get them to the church and get them involved in the same. Millennials are described as the (1835) year old generation.

4. Determine the means by which leaders/ministers can get the congregation involved in community outreach and or ministry. Further, what are the steps and tools that will transform the church from a complacent not-committed ethic to a passionate, vibrant and community-changing body of believers.

5. What are the means by which the church can rebuild trust in Pastoral Leadership in the community in light of the multitude of clergy ethical/spiritual/sexual/fiduciary/other schisms that exist?

6. State and define tools used to infuse technology into the life of a church in order to meet the needs of todayâ€™s techno-savy congregant. That is, what are the latest innovations and trends in technology available to the church that can be used to spread and further the gospel? Further, address the following question, is technology destroying Church attendance? Discuss the trends, defend your answer, and provide specific documentation supporting your findings.

7. State, define, and cite three major deterrents or problems that are prevalent in todayâ€™s church, and define the necessary methodology to correct the problems.
