When reading Shakespeare’s sonnets aloud, I noticed that I instinctively used a sort of sing-song voice because I knew I was reciting a prose and I knew that there was a rhyme with every sentence coupling. It seemed like my reading was sillier and more superficial than the more serious readings of speakers on the site.
