When reading Shakespeare’s sonnets aloud, I noticed that I instinctively used a sort of sing-song voice because I knew I was reciting a prose and I knew that there was a rhyme with every sentence coupling. It seemed like my reading was sillier and more superficial than the more serious readings of speakers on the site. As I listened to the speakers’ reciting the sonnets, I noticed that their tone change and the speed and dialect changed throughout the sonnet....
