Read through this guide and then answer the application section.
Always follow the following rules when integrating secondary sources:
1. Make sure you completely understand the article/essay and the author's main points. You don't want to take someone's words out of context.
2. Always introduce the author and title of source when you integrate it for the first time.
3. Other signal phrases for quotations should be reflective of your argument and establish a reason for quoting:
Allow you to emphasize a point.
Enable you to add to or refocus the argument of the scholar.
Allow you to disagree and provide your own reasons and examples.
4. Make sure that the quotation you want to use is relevant to the point you're making at the time.
5. Make sure that you offer a citation in MLA style. If it is clear who the author is, then you only need a page number in the parentheses. If it could be confusing to your reader about the author of the quotation, then place the author's last name along with the page number in the parentheses.
If you are using a source posted on Moodle, then you should just use the author's last name since there is no pagination.
6. Once you've quoted, you should make connections; offer a response, draw inferences; make what you have to say about the quotation support your own thesis statement.

In a Recommendation Report- you’ll compose a 4 page report (excluding cover email, title page, and works cited page) that details a problem within your field.

When choosing a problem- you should choose wisely:
1. a problem that you can discuss completely in 4 pages
2. a problem that has reasonable solutions
3. a problem that requires a solution that is practical and one that could be implemented. (Avoid unrealistic options).

You want to assume that your supervisor has requested this report from you regarding a current problem in the field.
You’ll put together this report as an answer to that request and those issues.

Structure of a Booklet: - Generally we use a booklet format for this type of report: - As listed in the assignment sheet:
1. Cover email- directed to your supervisor- Here is the report you requested on ____________ and ____________ I have concluded that _________________- If you have any questions, ___________________.
2. Title Page
3. Report- Problem, Solutions, and Discussion (a detailed list is in the Assignment sheet of these sections).
4. Reports make use of subsections- and textual divisions- bullets- numbered lists.
5. You should also incorporate at least 2 visuals- one of which should be a Gantt chart- explained in unit 3.
6. Use at least 3 sources- and include a Works Cited page

Your sections:
Problem- Introduce problem- identify all issues.
Solution- detail solution specifically with an implementation schedule and explanation.
Discussion- time frame- possible consequences/set backs- costs- steps to implement-
