Provide a personal and scholarly, professional statement of your ethical framework and principles, illustrated by concrete examples of its application in your life. Include:
• The key character traits that accompany your framework. (A framework is a set of ideas, concepts, and justified, true beliefs that undergird your view of the world. Frameworks motivate you, guide your behaviors, and stimulate your actions in the world.).
• How your position is related to the ethical theories outlined in the course readings and handouts. (For example, Lutheran/Christian vocation, virtue ethics, Kantian ethics, utilitarianism, evolutionary psychology, capabilities approach, etc.)
• Discussion of the ways in which rationalizations (as referred to in Rationalizations [Josephson, 2010]) interfere with the practical application of your ethical principles. You may wish to discuss how rationalizations negatively affect your professional environment and how sensitivity to rationalizations would be beneficial.
Write no more than two pages, APA format and style. Support your statements with evidence from the required studies and your research. Cite and reference your sources in APA style.
