About Mark
I received my PhD in Genetics and Genomics. I have taught both undergraduate and graduate level molecular biology and genetics courses. I had also worked in a Molecular Biology lab for 10 years. My research interests are broad and range from the relationship of genetics to human health to genome evolution and how it contributes to the evolution of species. In addition to my teaching and lab experience I have 8 years experience in bioinformatic analysis of genetic data (DNA and RNA sequence data). I am familiar with many of the newest technologies used in molecular genetics as well as the newest developments in genome sequencing. I also am knowledgeable with other biology related topics including general and organismal biology as well as ecology and evolutionary biology.
