I am a medical doctor with postgraduate training in public health (MSc Epidemiology & Biostatistics; PhD Epidemiology). Over the last 20 years, I have worked on multiple research projects. My major responsibilities have been designing and implementing research projects such as surveys including KAP surveys, carrying out statistical analyses (basic and advanced), preparing scientific reports and manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals. I also represented my organization and country at meetings and conferences at national and international levels. I worked in both the public and private sectors, at national and international level.
For more than 3 years, I have been teaching basic medical subjects, such as human physiology, pharmacology, biostatistics and epidemiology. I have taught face to face, online, one-on-one and in small groups. Recently, I’ve started teaching applied bio-statistics to graduate students, both masters and doctoral.
Apart from epidemiology and biostatistics, I am very much interested in teaching study design and methods, scientific report writing, systematic reviews and meta-analyses.
