Electronics Design
Assignment 3
Problem B
Part 1)Design an active band pass filter with 20 (dB/decade) roll offs on each side. The measured midband gain in (dB) is to be within 3 (dB) of specified gain. The gains at the cutoff frequencies are to be 3 (dB) lower than the midband gain; again a 3 (dB) error is accepted.
*Coupling capacitors at input and output recommended but not required. 1.5 (nF), 15 (nF), and150 (nF) are recommended if used. Should be 10% tolerance or worse if used.
Midband gain = 10.3 dB
Low frequency cutoff =269.4 Hz
Midband frequency =1304.3 Hz
High frequency cutoff = 6313.9 Hz
