Stratification is the process of categorizing people into groups based on a hierarchical arrangement. It gives rise to various social classes and attempts to explain aspects of inequality across the social classes. Different social classes will have varying characteristics but mostly, economic and political parameters are the most prevalent. Over the years, human history has proven to largely contribute to development of social classes within the societal framework. The evolution of the classification of social classes has continually been reviewed by philosophers and scholars. I am completely convinced that human history has greatly influenced class conflicts over the years.
