El gringo típico, el turista norteamericano, es un tipo muy interesante cuando viaja a México. Por ejemplo, comunmente no sabe hablar ni leer español—y no quiere aprender, y espera que todo el mundo hable inglés. Este tipo no toma agua porque le tiene miedo a los microbios. No come tomate porque, créalo o no, porque supone que es veneno. No le gusta la comida mexicana. Dice que es muy picante.
El gringo típico es rico. Vive en un hotel y gasta mucho dinero. No tiene respeto para con los mexicanos, no aprecia nuestras costumbres.
