Question
1. Make a chart of eight (8) measures of 4/4 time signature - quadruple meter - each measure using different notes and rests to equal the needed four beats. Use a mixture of whole notes/rests, quarter notes/rests, eighth notes/rests, sixteenth notes/rests. All the beats in the measure must be fulfilled.

2. Make a second chart of eighth (8) measures of 3/4 time signature - triple -rhythm in the same manner as the above.

3. In 4/4 time each measure must have 4 beats (no more, no less). Eighth notes must be beamed together in grouping of 2 or 4 notes (no more).

4. In 3/4 time each measure must have 3 beats (no more, no less). but eighth notes and sixteenth notes must also be beamed in groups of 2 or 4 (no more).

5. In both cases the bottom number states that the quarter note gets one beat.

6. Always pay attention to stem direction. If the note is on the upper half of the pentagram the stem goes down and is on the left side of the notehead, if the note is on the lower half of the pentagram the stem goes up and is on the right side of the notehead.
